Blown away by the vibrancy

I can tell you what I wasn’t expecting on a visit to the Goldfields – inspired Aboriginal art, a street art trail to rival any big Cities and a thriving performing arts culture. Heartwalk is the local self-guided street art trail, designed to have you meandering the streets and lane ways to discover works by internally renown artists. Best enjoyed strolling with a coffee in hand, or hopping on and off the local tram, what a treat to see a mixture of contemporary art and heritage style architecture.

If you time your trip right, you might even find yourself watching the WA Ballet, or listening to the Symphony Orchestra.  Make sure you leave room in your luggage for a local momento to take home. You can find beautiful artefacts at Bush Blossom Gallery, exhibitions at Black Crow Studio, local giftware from Fossick & Co or a hand carved charcuterie board from Chunky Timber Co.
